The radio frequency remote access kit is designed for the GR 2400 system, as a seamless building-to-building (point-to-point) communication link for long distances. Ships as a complete kit with no additional parts needed, except for the local wiring and mounting screws. The product ships factory pre-programmed and uses license free frequency mode, also powerful enough to send/receive data over miles of distances. (Actual distance may vary due to the nature of local geological features) The waterproof external antennas have the transceivers included, reducing the RF signal loss to virtually zero compared to long connecting coaxial cables. Cost effective compact system that requires only a short run of waterproof Cat.5 between the power supply and the antenna (included), and standard Cat.5 UTP/STP wiring inside the building to connect to the remote powered converter and the GR 2400 system at the remote end.
