Since LC&D and Sensor Switch have joined forces under Acuity Brands, all occupant sensors for LC&D projects will come directly from Sensor Switch, the leader in low voltage occupant sensors. These occupant sensors are available in a number of mounting location and viewing angles to control relays, dimmers or smart breakers. Sensors may be combined and wired in parallel to create any combined viewing pattern.

Sensors are wired into the inputs of a MicroPanel™ or Blue Box™ or the contact inputs of a DigiLink™ or L2 Analog/Digital™ card.

All sensors use Passive Infrared (PIR) technology and most sensors designed to be mounted under 12 ft. are also available with both PIR and Microphonics (passive dual-technology upgrade) which can “hear” around corners. This is ideal for spaces which have cubicles, shelving, bathroom stalls, etc.
